The Problem:
A focus on competition, privilege, and superficial success has undermined the culture of education. Society has come to largely prioritize grades, rankings, and prestige over genuine learning and growth. Many students are shielded from meaningful challenges, leaving them unprepared for real-world problem-solving and resilience.
Student health, both physical and mental, is often overlooked in the pursuit of academic achievement. The pressure to excel has led to a rise in burnout, anxiety, and other mental health crises, leaving students struggling in systems that value short term output over long term well-being. This neglect of holistic development reduces education to a mechanism for competition rather than a pathway to personal and societal progress.
Mission:
To motivate students to take on challenges, provide them important once in a lifetime experiences, gain happiness while doing so, and become ethical leaders, all while effectively educating their minds, keeping them healthy, and serving humanity.
The ultimate goal is that, as we build a track record from these Vitality programs of students being happier, healthier, etc., more and more will start to favor a more holistic structure of education like Vitality.
